Welcome to Tavro. Here's how to get set up in about ten minutes.
1. Complete your profile
Go to Profile → Edit. Add:
- Your roles and experience
- Certifications (RSA, RSG, Food Safety, First Aid — whichever you hold)
- Work rights (Australian citizen, PR, working holiday, student visa)
- Skills specific to hospitality (barista experience, wine knowledge, etc.)
Employers filter on all of these. Every field you fill in is another way for the right venues to find you.
2. Set your availability
Under Profile → Availability, tick the shifts you can work — morning, afternoon, evening, late night across all seven days. Employers filter by availability when they're looking to fill a specific shift.
If your availability changes weekly, that's fine — you can update it anytime.
3. Apply to your first role
Head to Browse Jobs or open your Jobs For You feed. When you find a role you like:
- Click Apply
- If your profile is at least 80% complete, you can use Quick Apply — one click, no cover note
- Otherwise, add a short note about why you'd suit the role
4. Save a search
Set filters on Browse Jobs (location, role, salary range), then click Save search. You'll get an email when new jobs match — daily or weekly, your choice.
That's it. You're set.
